Will you come to my party
Some old friends will be there too
Will you come to my party
You – Yes I do mean you
I know I live far away
But hope its not a chore
Although I live far away
Please come knocking at my door
You need a wheelchair to get about
Well that’s fine, come, its still you
A wheelchair’s need that Ok
You’ve been ill, I know that true!
I will be sixty on that day
Time to celebrate
You too are sixty, well there you are
Come meet me, Richard, Chris and Kate
There’ll be friends of old
To swell the crowd
And many friends anew
The dancing and the music’s loud
Will you come? – Please do!
